"I couldn’t recommend Lucy more if I tried, I came across her page on Instagram just before we had our first baby and coincidentally a few of my friends had used her for their newborn shoots so I knew she was who I wanted to use.

We have used Lucy for two newborn shoots now and a one year old shoot - and every single photo from each shoot is just gorgeous, she is incredibly talented.

"Choosing the right newborn photographer was really important to us and we spent some time researching local
photographers. We chose Lucy because of her beautiful natural style, without gimmicks or props or overly edited pictures, just true-to-life relaxed family photos. We were not disappointed as this was exactly what our experience was.

The whole session was so enjoyable with Lucy taking everything at a pace that worked for our family, which was essential with a newborn and a toddler. We never felt rushed or like our family's needs, from breastfeeding to snacks, were inconvenient.

Lucy was so great at gently encouraging our 2-year-old to join in with the photos, making her feel comfortable and special, without ever putting pressure on her to 'perform'. This has come through in our photo gallery as she is clearly relaxed and happy in all of her pictures. This also allowed us to really enjoy the experience as we weren't stressed about her and her behaviour. Lucy is a mum to two young children herself and it showed in her understanding and supportive approach.

The photographs themselves are exactly what we wanted; natural, relaxed, and a true reflection of our family. Lucy made sure to capture each of our little ones individually, together and with each of us in a variety of combinations. We have the most amazing snapshots of such a precious moment in time that we will treasure forever.

Both before and after our session, Lucy was so helpful and accommodating, from changing our session date when our baby decided to arrive late, to editing some bruising I had from birth out of my pictures, she was always happy to do the little things that made a big difference to us.

Lucy also always responded to my emails incredibly quickly and I always felt answering like my questions was important to her.

All in all, I couldn't recommend Lucy more highly. Our whole experience from start to finish was perfect and I will be forever grateful to her for capturing the most precious moments so beautifully."
